WSOP Update: Plenty of Poker Being Played at 2007 WSOP

With the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em Event that began yesterday and the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event that begins today, there is plenty of poker being played today in the Amazon Room.

Event #44 - $2,000 Omaha Hi Lo - Frankie O'Dell won this event. This is his second WSOP bracelet, and they have both been in Omaha hi-lo. Along with the bracelet he takes home $240,057 and the ubiquitous Corum watch. Play $500 match poker bonus.

Event #45 - $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Six-Handed - Final table is set and will begin play at 2pm PDT. Alex Bolotin and Eric Friberg are the chip leaders, and between them they have more than half of the chips in play. Download poker wallpapers.

Event #46 - $1,000 Seven Card Stud Hi Lo - The final table is also ready to go in this event. Scotty Nguyen is looking for his fifth bracelet, while Tom Schneider is at his third final table fo the 2007 WSOP. Play begins at 3pm PDT. Play route 66 poker.

Event #47 - $2,000 No Limit Hold'em - 147 players & women poker players left out of 2,038 original entrants. Still some big names left in the field, but mostly a sea of unknown faces. Play picks back up again today at 2pm PDT.

Event #48 - $1,000 2-7 Triple Draw with Rebuys - This talent-packed poker tournament event gets back underway at 4pm PDT. Team Bodog poker pro David Williams is sitting in the top 20 of this event, so we'll keep you updated on his progress.
