Poker Player - Paul Phillips

Paul Phillips has been a big hit on the World Poker Tour, including his win at the Bellagio in 2003 with a payout of over $1 Million. Some say, however, Paul does not "play poker for the money." Paul was a top executive at an internet company, and received a huge payout during the internet stock boom, thus earning the nickname "dot com." Paul is an enigmatic warrior at the poker table, always talkative, and usually involved in the big pots. He has been to several final tables recently, including several at the 2004 World Series of Poker. His vast poker knowledge and ability to read opponents makes Phillips a very dangerous poker player in the various games he plays. Paul Phillips is a player you will see a lot of on televised poker games over the next several months, and he shows no signs of slowing down.
