Celebrity Poker Player - Ben Affleck

An A-list celebrity and poker fanatic, Affleck was trained by poker star Annie Duke. His first claim to movie stardom was for the Oscar winning film "Good Will Hunting." Affleck, 32, was raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His recent films have included "Pearl Harbor," "Daredevil" and "Gigli." Out of many celebrities who play poker in their spare time, Affleck continues to a fan favorite. He has many ties to gambling including his best friend since childhood and fellow celebrity, Matt Damon, who starred in the poker classic "Rounders.'' Affleck took home $376,000 and first place at the 2004 California State Poker Championship. He started the final table of nine players at the poker tournament with the second lowest chip count and fought his way to victory.
